"The Jack" is the third song on the album "High Voltage" by Australian rock band AC / DC. This song about sexually transmitted disease - "Jack" is an Australian slang for gonorrhea, also known as "Clap". AC / DC vocalist Bon Scott explained the song's origins in an interview with Sounds in 1976. Scott said: “We lived with this handful of ladies who were very friendly and everyone in the group had this jack. So we wrote this song, and the first time we did it on stage, they were all in the front row with no idea what was going to happen. When it came time to repeat, "She has a jack," I pointed at them one by one. " Guitarist Angus Young added: “After that, wherever we did the song, the girls in the audience would run to the far end of the hall.”
